This site is a portfolio. It sells nothing, it runs no contact form, and it asks you for nothing. The only personal data processed here is what your browser sends when it loads a page, which the hosting provider records in server log files.

• IP address, in truncated or short lived form
• Date and time of the request
• The page or file requested
• Referring page, browser type and version, operating system

The legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR: delivering the site reliably and keeping it secure. This data is not used to profile you and is not merged with any other source.

The site is hosted by a cloud hosting provider that processes the log data described above on my behalf as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. Log data is retained only as long as needed to operate and secure the service, then deleted or aggregated.

This site sets no marketing cookies and no tracking cookies. It runs no advertising pixel, no retargeting and no third party analytics of its own. There is nothing here that needs your consent, so there is no consent banner.

Every contact route on this site is a plain mailto: link to haris@rapidventurelab.com. Your message goes straight to my mailbox and nothing passes through this site. I process what you send me to answer you, on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR, and I keep it as long as the conversation is live plus a reasonable period afterwards.

The work pages link out to live demos on rapidventurelab.com subdomains, to LinkedIn and to rehman.substack.com. When you follow one of those links, the site you land on becomes the controller for anything it collects, under its own privacy policy. Nothing on this site is embedded from a third party, so no third party sees you until you click.

Where a provider involved in hosting or in a linked service processes data outside the European Union, that transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Restrict processing, Article 18 GDPR
• Receive your data in a portable format, Article 20 GDPR

Write to haris@rapidventurelab.com to use any of them. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Berlin that is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

This site is aimed at professional visitors. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

This site sets no marketing or tracking cookies, so there is nothing here to switch off. If that ever changes, the controls will live in this block and the footer link will point at them.
